Scott's Grotto

Created in the 1760s by the Quaker poet and reformer, John Scott, this Gothic garden attraction consists of a series of interconnecting chambers and tunnels, with walls lined using flints, fossils, shells, glass, stones and minerals. Grade I listed.

On your visit, be sure to wear flat shoes and take a torch with you.

Open every Saturday and Bank Holiday from 2pm to 4.30pm, between 1 April and 28 September 2017
Admission: 
Free. Donation of £1 per visitor gratefully received.
